BUMIT provides machine-readable verification information about Swiss businesses, derived from authoritative public sources. Coverage is limited to Switzerland and to the capabilities listed as available.

Results may be incomplete, unavailable, ambiguous, stale, or require human review. A "not found" result does not prove that a business does not exist.

BUMIT derives information from external public and authoritative sources. Source availability, publication timing, ingestion timing and upstream changes can affect results.

Results are informational and not legally binding. BUMIT is not a complete KYB (know-your-business) substitute.

You remain responsible for any decision you make using BUMIT results, and for checking them against the original sources where it matters.

Service availability is not guaranteed. The service, its capabilities and these terms may change.

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to bypass its security or rate limits, overload it or the upstream sources, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it to republish source datasets in bulk.
